Punching Walls Lyrics

I gotta find out
I don't see you around
No moreBut sir, don't forget
You'll stop your address
You'll fall
Through the floorDid you get our calls?
You still punching walls?
I don't see you round
No moreBy and by it's gone
But not if you rewind itBy and by it's gone
But not if you rewind itThey said they'd seen you
You weren't acting so toughWhat happened to your car?
I heard you drove real far
And just left,
All your stuffAnd that you ran right back
And took off.
You flew over
The rest of usBy and by it's gone

But not if you rewind itBy and by it's gone
But not if you rewind itAnd are you still punching walls?
You always seem to be where the rock falls

Morning Runner were an alternative rock band from Reading, England, that formed in 2003. They released one album, Wilderness Is Paradise Now, following a top 20 single "Burning Benches", before their split in late 2007 due to commercial pressures from their record label, Parlophone. Morning Runner met in Reading, Berkshire, while in different bands. Pianist Chris "Fields" Wheatcroft moved to Reading from Salisbury, where he had dropped out of his classical music course, and singer/guitarist Matthew Greener moved there with his parents in his early teens.
