Puppy Love Lyrics

Call it Puppy Love Curtis and Tisha in the tree
K I S S I N GShe was pregnant by me once, glad she didn't have it
'Cause I be paying child support now, goddamn it
Tish was my bitch, till she fucked my god-brother
I was heated when I heard, wanted to go upside his headIt was Christmas, I just bought the bitch a sheepskin kid
I was sick to my stomach, nigga, this is real shit
I ain't the sensitive type, I ain't sit around crying
I caught the bitch on the avenue and punched her in the eyeCall it Puppy Love Curtis and Janelle in the tree
K I S S I N GD's came locked my ass up like a savage
Then came Doobie in the baby carriage
Imagine how it felt summer day pretty blue skies
I gazed memorized at her in with green eyesI'm so into you baby, we don't even got touch
That the type shit I say when I really want to fuck
'Cause her cousin Tisha lived by baby [unverified] forty
Sold crack before rap so everybody know meChase Jus down cut his head the motherfucker owe me
Vick's spinning, Cheek's was the hottest rapper in the hood
I ain't hate but on the low I didn't think he was goodWe wore timberland boots, carhartt suits
You can tell a nigga paid when his filas shoes suede

Ock a Ceaser or a fade kept a pistol or a blade
Try to flip a 62 like every couple daysI get knocked I come home its all a part of the game
Catch a snitch, cut a snitch or put one in his frame
Its like every other summer I was back and forth to jail
Telling nanna I'm copping out, so I don't need bail
Just the convesary, put the money orders in the mailCall it Puppy Love Curtis and Deawn in the tree
K I S S I N GCall it puppy love, call it puppy love
She came to see me on the alley, wrote me letters all the time
And I responded to the letters so she stayed on my mind
Told myself I'ma grind
As soon as I get out that paper what I'm aboutAfter four months home I had the Lan I shine
Two months later I copped the Benz my nine
Stay all cocked even when it hot, TAZ out
TNT on the block, make yourself get knocked
I just love em and leave 'em, I don't give a fuck
I mean she didn't give a fuck, she had a nigga in my truckCall it Puppy Love Curtis and Shaniqua in the tree
K I S S I N G

Curtis James Jackson III (born July 6, 1975 in South Jamaica, Queens, New York), better known by his stage name 50 Cent, is a Grammy award nominated rapper, actor, singer, entrepreneur, author and founder of the hip hop group and label G-Unit. After leaving drug dealing to pursue a rap career, he released his debut album Guess Who's Back? in 2002. He was discovered by Eminem and Dr. Dre and then signed to Interscope Records. He has since released 2003's Get Rich or Die Tryin', 2005's The Massacre, 2007's Curtis and 2009's Before I Self Destruct.

50 Cent has engaged in feuds with other rappers including Jay-Z, Ja Rule, The Game, Cam'Ron, Fat Joe, and Rick Ross. He has also pursued an acting career, appearing in the semi-autobiographical film Get Rich or Die Tryin' in 2005, the Iraq War film Home of the Brave in 2006, and Righteous Kill in 2008. 50 Cent is one of the richest hip-hop performers, having a net worth estimated at US $440 million in 2008.

Before 50 Cent ever inked a major deal, he built up a substantial fan base in New York through underground mixtapes. 50 Cent met up with Jam Master Jay of Run-DMC and was signed to his label to write all of Jay’s music. After he’d left JMJ, he signed to Columbia Records in 1996. On this label, he released Power of the Dollar, and the singles How to Rob and Ghetto Qu’ran. Columbia Records released him from the label after being shot on May 24th, 2000.

Around this time, Eminem had heard one of 50 Cent’s demo tapes and expressed a huge interest in him on MTV, as did Dr Dre. Shortly after this, 50 Cent officially signed to Interscope Records. He was the first rapper to sign to the joint label owned by Dr Dre and Eminem. The first song he released on this record was entitled Wanksta and was featured on the 8 Mile soundtrack.

In its first week of release, his debut ”Get Rich Or Die Tryin’” sold 872,000 units - easily reaching Gold status. Within the second week it went Platinum (1 mil) and on April 12th, 2004 the RIAA certified it six times Platinum.

In 2005 he followed the success of his album Get Rich or Die Tryin’ with a new release - The Massacre (originally called St. Valentines Day Massacre until the release date was pushed back). The first single released off this, Disco Inferno, was a huge hit - he followed this hit up by the release of Candy Shop and then again with Just a Lil Bit.

In 2003 Interscope allowed 50 Cent to have his own label - G-Unit records. He first signed Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo and Young Buck as the established members of G-Unit. In 2004, Dr. Dre and 50 Cent had signed The Game under a joint venture.
