Put Me Back Together Lyrics

When I walk down the street
I've been tripping on my feet
And my clothes they don't match
And my blue jeans need a patchIt's cold outside
Is there someone there tonight?
It's cold outside
Would you let me come inside and make it right? Here, it's clear that I'm not getting better
When I fall down you put me back togetherMy hairdo isn't cool
And my lips are lined with drool
I'm a mess since you left
You can use this fool, I'm a useless toolIt's cold outside
Is there someone there tonight?
It's cold outside
Would you let me come inside and make it right? Here, it's clear that I'm not getting better
When I fall down you put me back together
I'm alone in my room, I don't know what to do
When I fall down you put me back togetherAnd when I daydream we're eating ice cream
It's such a nice scene but then I wake up crying

I know I've just been lying right hereIt's clear that I'm not getting better
When I fall down you put me back together
Here, it's clear that I'm not getting better
When I fall down you put me back togetherI'm alone in my room, I don't know what to do
When I fall down you put me back together

Formed in Dayton, Ohio in 2001. Playing from the start on self-booked tours across the country gave them some initial national exposure, but they weren't signed to Victory Records until late 2003. As one of the first bands to utilize social networking to gain a fan base, Hawthorne Heights developed a huge MySpace following that became a catalyst that would launch them from underground to international awareness.
