Queen Bee Lyrics

Sweet are the flowers in my garden
And the bees are very pleased
And theres the buzz as they make the honeyThen Queen Bee comes and takes all the honey
Honey for the kids in the hall
I can hear them all singing awayOh yeah, yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeahQueen Bee comes and takes all the honey
Honey for the kids in the hall
I can hear them all singing awayOh yeah, yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
Oh yeahSweetest is the honey in the kitchen
And the bees are very pleased
And theres the buzz when they see the honeyThen Queen Bee comes and takes all the honey
Honey for the kids in the hall
I can hear them all singing awayOh yeah, yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeahQueen Bee comes and takes all the honey
Honey for the kids in the hall
I can hear them all singing awayOh yeah, yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah

Oh yeahJust like a hungry sparrow
Eating a piece of bread
Ain't got the time to see the day
Trying to keep the family fedQueen Bee comes and takes all the honey
Honey for the kids in the hall
I can hear them all singing awayOh yeah, yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
Oh yeahQueen Bee comes and takes all the honey
Honey for the kids in the hall
I can hear them all singing awayOh yeah, yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeahQueen Bee comes and takes all the honey
Honey for the kids in the hall
I can hear them all singing awayOh yeah, yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah . . . [continue to fade]

Middle of the Road are a pop group from Scotland who enjoyed great success across Europe in the early 1970s. They had three major hits in the UK singles chart, all of them bubblegum pop classics: "Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep" (Number 1), "Tweedle Dee Tweedle Dum" (Number 2) and "Soley Soley" (Number 5), all in 1971. But in other European countries, their success continued well into 1972 and 1973, with songs like "Sacramento", "Samson and Delilah", "Bottom's Up" and "The Talk of All the USA".
