Question Of Reality Lyrics

I called today to say my goodbyes
Mistook your mood, I began to beg you
Promises kept like yesterday's news
Thanks for the memories and thanks for the time
Thoughts come to me just like you take to me
So why do you stop as I'm begging for more?
When you look at me is there anything to see but you
When you think about me is anything real at all?
Chorus:
Slowly draining away
It's such a shame, you've missed the point again
I can't let reality seep in
I thank you
I only do it to feel you watch me
Confused intentions, you begin to beg me
Thanks for the memories and thanks for the time
Just like a voice that's heard by a child

Hidden away too close to be seen
Why do you call as I'm waiting at your door
When you think about me, is anything real at all
Chorus (2x)
I thank you (2x)
Chorus (2x)
I thank you

Apartment 26 were an electronic/metal band from Leamington Spa, England. They played Ozzfest in 1999 and split up in 2004. They worked with Tchad Blake, at Real World Studios, on their self-financed "Music For The Massive", having scrapped "Album 1.5" after 2 years of production. The result was a much tighter band, and looser "live" sound, captured by Blake by making the band perform live in the studio. After selling the finished record to Atlantic/Wea the label shed half of its roster during a merge with Electra Records, including Apartment 26. The single "Give Me More" was a minor Modern Rock hit in 2004.

Their name comes from David Lynch's Eraserhead, in which the character lives in Apartment 26
