Question of Honour Lyrics

I, I've seen it all before, heading north, the parole
I sit here and watch it all come down
A mile away from hell, back in a foreign land
But will tomorrow ever come?No regrets, no reason why
Release me, I'm dyingWe stood side by side
Everybody's asking why
We had a dream, it ended in screams
They sold us a question of honourA flash of a shotgun blast lightens the dark
Then dies in a pool of blood
A jet's coming close as gas hits my nose
All the prayers came too lateNo regrets, no reason why
Release me, I'm dyingWe stood side by side
Everybody's asking why
We had a dream, it ended in screams
They sold us a question of honourThe night has fallen but I'm still awake
My chances at zero
Breathe for the last time, help's out of reach
No time for heroesNo regrets, no reason why

Release me, I'm dyingWe stood side by side
Everybody's asking why
We had a dream, it ended in screams
They sold us a question of honourWe stood side by side
Everybody's asking why
We had a dream, it ended in screams
They sold us a question of honour

Primal Fear is a German power metal/heavy metal band formed in 1997 by Ralf Scheepers (Vocals/Ex-Gamma Ray, ex-Tyran' Pace), Mat Sinner ( Bass and Vocals/Sinner), Stefan Leibing and Tom Naumann (Guitars). Their style is a heavy power metal sound with the Halford-esque vocals of Ralf Scheepers that give a feeling of Judas Priest's Painkiller era. Scheepers formed the band after he was not hired as Rob Halford's replacement in Judas Priest, a job for which he was a finalist, that went to Tim "Ripper" Owens.
