Brothers Lorenzo and Reynaldo Hierrezuelo, born in Caney, Cuba; continued with The Duo Los Compadres in 1955 after Repilado (Compay Segundo) left the original formation with his cousin Lorenzo. Compay Primo (Lorenzo) passed away in 1985.
Great influence to many latin musicians like Pacheco, Monguito, Palmieri, Cuco Valoy and others.
Rey "Caney" with his 87 is still giving concerts and recording with his own Orquestra in Santiago de Cuba.
