Rain Lyrics

It's gonna rain, oh yeah
Come on in for the night
It's gonna rain, oh yeah
Come on in and hold me tightI'm so sorry, baby
You know that I want you, baby
I hurt you once again
But open up and let me inI'm so, so wet, darlin'
I know you hear me callin'
Ooh, I really wanna
Make sweet love to youIt's gonna rain, oh yeah
Come on in for the night
It's gonna rain, oh yeah
Come on in and hold me tightIt's time for love, suga
'Cause I really wanna do you
Can you rub me up, rub me down?
Well, you got me in the moodFire is burnin', suga
Body is yearin' for ya
Boy, the time is here and now

Well, I need youIt's gonna rain, oh yeah
Come on in for the night
It's gonna rain, oh yeah
Come on in and hold me tightBaby, stay with me
All night long it will be
Shower down on me
Let your love make me freeIt's gonna rain, oh yeah
Come on in for the night
It's gonna rain, oh yeah
Come on in and hold me tightIt's gonna rain, oh yeah
Come on in for the night
It's gonna rain, oh yeah
Come on in and hold me tightIt's gonna rain, oh yeah
Come on in for the night
It's gonna rain, oh yeah
Come on in and hold me tightIt's gonna rain, oh yeah
Come on in for the night
It's gonna rain, oh yeah
Come on in and hold me tight

There are three artists who have used the name Total.

1. Total was an American R&B girl group and one of the signature acts of Puff Daddy's Bad Boy Records during the mid-1990s. New Jersey R&B trio Total made their first appearance singing the hook on The Notorious B.I.G.'s debut single, "Juicy". Garnering attention for the new group, they were also featured on the original version and "Hip Hop Remix" of his next single "One More Chance". They then immediately hit the studio with Bad Boy Records CEO Sean "Puffy" Combs and began work on their debut album. The first single "Can't You See?", had The Notorious B.I.G. returning the favor with a guest rhyme. Despite collaboration with their now big-star labelmate and the track's appearance on the "New Jersey Drive Soundtrack", the single only peaked at #44 on the Billboard Hot 100. It did however enter the top ten of the R&B Charts and after their self-titled debut album was released shortly thereafter, they produced four more R&B top ten singles, "No One Else" (and its remix featuring Foxy Brown, Lil' Kim and Da Brat) and '"Kissing You" (and its remix featuring Sean "Puffy" Combs). The album was certified platinum by the RIAA.

2. Matthew Bower is a British ambient/drone/noise musician. Bower released around a dozen full-length titles under the name Total, mostly between 1993 and 2000, on labels such as Majora, VHF, American Tapes (run by John Olson of Wolf Eyes), Self Abuse and Freek as well as appearing on Virgin‘s archetypal Ambient 4: Isolationism compilation with the track Six. Initially a less rock-based and often musically calmer counterpart to his project Skullflower’s harsher work, the roles slowly reversed, reaching a peak with the noisy Merzbow Mixed Total cassette being released around the same time as the mostly gentle, fluid "This Is Skullflower" CD. Bower dropped the name around the same time as US R&B group of the same name appeared, although Bower has never confirmed a connection between these events.

3. The Russian band Total (or Тотал) formed in 1999 by composer and producer Max Fadeev. The group consists of five members: Marina Cherkunova - vocals, Gennady Gaev - guitar, Anatoly Karavaev - bass-guitar, Evgenie Nikulin - drums and Anna Kornilova – dj. See Тотал for more info.
