Real Life Lyrics

Certain, genuine, almost positive
Right definite, sincere
Broke vitality, truth humility
That's not what's happening here
Ooh, ooh, this is real life
Ooh, ooh, this is real life
I'm sitting here waiting, wondering where you been
Don't you know you're late again?
Sitting here thinking, figuring you would call
The phone don't ring at all
I'm not a girl who's living in a fantasy world
So tell me are we fictional, fact
'Cause right now I gotta know
(I gotta know)
I wanna know where we're at
Get a grip baby, we're no rehearsal
It's not a game, we are not playing virtual
When are you going to wake up and realize?

This is real life, this is real life
Have honey would never be true love
I can almost never be in love
I tell you straight up, not telling you twice
(Telling you twice)
This is real life, uh, this is real life
(This is real life)
You're blowing hot and cold
And I don't know where you're coming from
What planet are you living on?
And I'm not the girl of a type who will forgive and forget
(Have I, have I got you attention yet?)
I'm not a girl whose living in a big dream world
This time there's no compromise
So if you want me for good, you better open your eyes
Get a grip baby, we're no rehearsal
It's not a game, we are not playing virtual
When are you going to wake up and realize?
This is real life, this is real life
Have honey would never be true love
I can almost never be in love
I tell you straight up, not telling you twice
(Telling you twice)
This is real life, uh, this is real life
(Real life)
Certain, genuine, almost positive
Right definite, sincere
Broke vitality, truth humility
That's not what's happening here
Ooh, ooh, this is real life
(That's not what's happening)
Ooh, ooh, this is real life
Get a grip baby we're no rehearsal
It's not a game, we are not playing virtual
When are you going to wake up and realize
This is real life, this is real life
Have honey would never be true love
I can almost never be in love
I tell you straight up, not telling you twice
(Telling you twice)
This is real life
(Real life)
Get a grip baby we're no rehearsal
It's not a game, we are not playing virtual
When are you going to wake up and realize
This is real life, this is real life
(It's up to you, come on)
Have honey would never be true love
I can almost never be in love
I tell you straight up, not telling you twice
(Telling you twice)
This is real life
Get a grip baby we're no rehearsal
It's not a game, we are not playing virtual
When are you going to wake up and realize
This is real life

Christian Howard Ward (born September 9, 1985 in Chicago, Illinois), better known by his stage name Yung Berg, and previously Ice Berg, is an American rapper, singer and actor signed to Koch and Epic Records. He signed to DMX's Bloodline Records in 2000, at the age of 15, but he then had to leave the label when his parents sent him to military school. After he finished school he moved to Los Angeles, and in 2006 he released his first official single Sexy Lady, featuring R&B singer Junior. After signing with Epic Records he released his debut album, Look What You Made Me in 2008. His second album, titled The Love Project, is set to be released sometime in 2010 and the lead single is Baby I'm Back featuring Rihanna.

In 2005, Yung Berg worked as a hypeman and recording assistant for Disturbing tha Peace member and Chicago rapper Shawnna. He also appeared in the music video for singer Kat DeLuna's debut single Whine Up.

Yung Berg is one of the the founders of the Yung Boss imprint and production team Yung Bosses, along with JFK and Rob Holladay. In December 2008, Berg began casting "exceptionally stand out beautiful dark skin/brown skin women to showcase beauty of all races" for a potential dating reality show that he would host. However, as evidenced by the trailer for his new TV Show, titled "Back In Business", it will no longer be a dating show.

Yung Berg has previously insulted Miami rapper Brisco on a video podcast. After singer Ne-Yo accused Berg of copying auto-tune vocal style from T-Pain and Lil Wayne, Berg posted a video blog criticizing Ne-Yo.
