Real Men Lyrics

Now it's all changed
It's gotta change more
I think it's gettin' better
But nobody's really sureTake your mind back
I don't know when
Back when it always seemed
To be just us and themGirls who wore pink
Boys that wore blue
Boys that always grew up
Better men than me and youAnd so it goes
Go 'round again
But now and then we wonder
Where the real men areOh, whoa
Oh, whoa, oh, oh, oh
Oh, whoa
Oh, whoa, oh, oh, oh, ahEven nice boys
Dancin' in pairs
Golden earing, golden tan

Blowing in their hairSure they're all straight
Straight as they lie
All the gays are macho
Can't you see the leather shineYou don't wanna act dumb
Don't wanna offend
So don't call me a fagot now
Unless you are a friend[Unverified] and tall
And handsome and strong
You can wear the uniform
And I can play a roleAnd so it goes
Go 'round again
But now and then we wonder
Where the real men areOh, whoa
Oh, whoa, oh, oh, oh
Oh, whoa
Oh, whoa, oh, oh, oh, ah

Pansy Division is a punk rock band formed in San Francisco, California in 1992. The band was a founding example of the queercore movement of openly gay musicians. They opened for fellow Bay Area band and former Lookout! Records artists Green Day on their "Dookie" tour in 1994 for a few months. Their first single release was on the Outpunk Records compilation Outpunk Dance Party, to which they contributed the song "I Can't Sleep". They have released many singles and LPs, mainly on the independent record label Lookout! Records and on Alternative Tentacles.
