Recovered Soul Lyrics

I woke up today
With a smile on my lips
Feel a little strange
Cause I've changed quite a bit
Since I fell In love
I been on a roll
When I found your heart
I recovered my soul
Recovered soul
I been down so long
Recovered soul
My whole life was wrong
The power of love
Made me twice as strong
It let me know
Nothing could stop
My recovered soul
Everything I touched

Got funky for a while
Got lost down the road
Full of lonesome miles
When you came along
I was down at the end
Like an angel from the night
You took me by the hand
Recovered soul
I been down so long
Recovered soul
My whole life was wrong
The power of love
Made me twice as strong
It let me know
Nothing could stop
My recovered soul
Guitar
Lightning in the black night
Raise me from my bed
I threw away my chains
I turned to love instead
Recovered soul
I been down so long
Recovered soul
My whole life was wrong
A power of love
Made me twice as strong
It let me know
Nothing could stop
My recovered soul
My recovered soul
My recovered soul
My recovered soul
