Red Lyrics

Fate is just a word
That someone spoke and someone heard
That someone wrote and someone read
Is just a colour
(You) can choose your friends
But not your sister or your brother
We pump out blood around for love
Is like a town
Where some get up and some stay down
We're always safe but never sound
Is like a drug
I'd give it up but I can't get enough
I'd give it up but I can't get enough
It isn't in the stars
It's written in our hearts
(And) I'm landing at the end
It's standing at the start
So when you're seeing red

Know it's only in your headPain is nothing new
It's just a phase you're going through
When everyday's a shade of blue
Is just a colour
(You) can choose your friends
But not your sister or your brother
Your father or your motherBut it isn't in the stars
It's written in our hearts
(And) I'm landing at the end
It's standing at the start
So when you're seeing red
Know it's only in your head
It isn't in the stars
It's written in our hearts
You're not landing at the end
You're standing at the start
It isn't in the stars
It's written in our hearts
And this is not the end
No, this is just the start
When you're seeing red
Know it's only in your head
