Release Me Lyrics

[Foreign Content]
Oh, ayi, ayi, ayi
Oh, ayi, ayi, ayi, ya
Oh, ayi, ayi, ayi, yaWhy rise and shine?
Another 21 hours
Ruined by my voiceOh, ayi, ayi, ayi, yaFine gift of mine
Offensive cloudiness showers
Though not by choice yetOh, ayi, ayi, ayi, yaNot just unrelatable
Just release me from what I've done
Release me from what I've done[Foreign Content]
Oh, ayi, ayi, ayi, ya
Oh, ayi, ayi, ayi, yaTying the binds
A bitter will still empowers
But won't fill the voidOh, ayi, ayi, ayi, yaBlind by design
Another stellar potential
View has been destroyed againNot just unattainable
Just release me from what I've done
Release me from what I've doneI've let down what I care for most

It's hypocritical and unforgivable
Lock me up when I'm intentional
And unpredictable, not forgettableRelease me from what I've done
Release me from what I've done
Release me from what I've done
Release me from what I've done
Release me, release me, release[Foreign Content]
Oh, ayi, ayi, ayi, ya
Oh, ayi, ayi, ayi, ya[Foreign Content]
Oh, ayi, ayi, ayi, ya
Oh, ayi, ayi, ayi, ya[Foreign Content]
Oh, ayi, ayi, ayi, ya
Oh, ayi, ayi, ayi, ya

Hailing from Ann Arbor, Michigan, Taproot formed in late 1997, and has toured with Deftones, Sevendust, Incubus, and Korn. Taproot's album "Blue Sky Research" was released on 16 August 2005. Their song "Calling" was the official theme song of WWE's Unforgiven pay-per-view event in September 2005. The second single from the album, "Birthday," received minimal radio airtime on the East Coast. In 1997, Taproot sent their demo to Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst. Impressed with their material, he offered to get them a recording contract through Interscope Records.
