Rest Of London (Album Version) Lyrics

I'm going underground
With the rest of London
I'm going down, down
With the rest of LondonWhat will become of you?
Who knows just what will become of me
I'm going underground
With the rest of LondonI ride the buses and trains
Just to get to you love
I suffer pains and delays
Just to get to you loveSomething's so hard to believe in
There's more chance
Of watching my ship come in
I'm going underground
With the rest of LondonI live through these years
'Cause I believe in you
I live through these fears
'Cause I believe in youOne day soon you know
A change is gonna come

With the morning sun
I cannot stand
Much more of these facesSomething's so hard to believe in
There's more chance
Of watching my ship come in
I'm going underground
With the rest of London
