Revenge Lyrics

Whatever happened to you, you've changed
And I'm still wrong
I know you wanted to stay so long
And I'm still aloneThere were no secrets, there were no stories
There was no one around
There were no reasons, there was no questions
There is no point nowWhatever happened to you, you've changed
And I'm still wrong
I know you wanted to stay so long
And I'm goin' onSo tell me your secret
Did you wanna see me pull my guns?
So tell me your secret
There were no stories, nobody wonI'll give you a reason and I'll wage a war with a punch from your face
I'll stand my guard, I'll give you a reason
You might see it, you might hate it
You might never know your nameSo tell me a secret
Did you wanna see me pull my guns?
Tell me a secret

You gotta look me in the eyeTell me a secret
I'll wage a war with [Incomprehensible]
And tell me a secret
How does it feel to be so lone? How does it feel to be so lone?
Just say or cry

Whiskeytown was an alt-country band from Raleigh, North Carolina founded in 1994 and fronted by Ryan Adams along with violinist Caitlin Cary. The band produced a number of albums before ultimately parting ways in 2000. Other members of the group included guitarists Mike Daly and Phil Wandscher, bassist Steve Grothmann and drummer Skillet Gilmore. Adams and Cary have publicly talked of reuniting Whiskeytown on multiple occasions, as recently as 2005, but as of yet, nothing new has materialized. The two did perform together briefly, along with Skillet Gilmore, on June 8, 2005, in Raleigh.
