Right Now Lyrics

(Verse 1)
He'll find himself, ooh,
He'll find himself laying down on the floor,
And he says...
He'll find himself, ooh,
He'll find himself wailing to the door. But it's one more step around my trap,
And it's one more bite 'til I'm out of snacks,
I must let you down.(Chorus)
Right now,
Right now,
You're gonna have to wear your shoes tight.
(One more night isn't making it right!)
Right now,
Right now,
Gonna take a walk on the wrong side.
(One more left and you're out of my sight!)
And it goes,
One more step around my trap,

And it's one more bite 'til I'm out of snacks,
I must let you down.(Break)
So long, so long.
So long, so long.
So long, so long... so long!
So long, so long (so long!)(Verse 2)
He'll find himself, ooh,
He'll find himself asking where you've gone.
Yeah he does!
He'll find himself,
He'll find himself asking what went wrong...But it's one more step around my trap,
And it's one more bite 'til I'm out of snacks,
I must let you down.
(Chorus)
Right now,
Right now,
You're gonna have to look for a flashlight.
(Behind the trees someday you'll be found.)
Right now,
Right now,
You're gonna have to give up the last fight.
(Broken bones hurt less than this, baby.)And it goes,
One more step around my trap,
And it's one more bite 'til I'm out of snacks,
I must let you down.(Break)
So long, so long.
So long, so long.
So long, so long... so long!
So long, so long (so long!)
So long, so long.
So long, so long.
So long, so long... so long!
So long, so long (so long!)

One would never expect such a rich and mighty voice to emerge from Kendra Morris’s petite frame. Her potency as a singer and performer grew from a childhood immersed in music. Her father, a guitarist and mother, a singer, frequently performed around the Southeast and gave Kendra the taste of the life she wanted to live. She moved from St. Petersburg, Florida to New York City in 2003, making music inside a tiny closet with only a guitar and eight-track recorder, always keeping it simple - an aesthetic that continues to shape her sound.
