Ring Around the Moon Lyrics

I can't fight your dragons anymore
They no longer live behind your closet door
My magic's lost it's power to ease your mind
But if I could I'd slay them, child of mine. What I wouldn't give for just one day
When holding you was all it took to wipe your tears away
Remember all the days we've left behind
And hold them in your heart, sweet child of mine.It fills me like a river fills the sea
Holds me in it's sway and sets me free
It reaches far beyond all tide and time
This love I have for you, sweet child of mine
This love I have for you, sweet child of mineRing Around the Moon
by Gretchen PetersDogs are barking, I don't know why
Must be something stirring outside
There's the wild blue yonder, then there's you and I
Come on baby, hold me tight
There's a ring around the moon tonightRed sky in morning take warning
Red sky at night they say it's a sailor's delight
I dream of the country I was born in

Come on baby, hold me tight
There's a ring around the moon tonightSometimes words, they're where I want 'em to be
Sometimes they don't say what I want 'em to mean
A heart's still hopeful when it's down on it's knees
Come on baby, hold me tight
There's a ring around the moon tonightCome on baby, hold me tight
There's a ring around the moon tonight
