Ring Of Changes Lyrics

Talk of tomorrow
And you talk of the times that have been
The wheels keep on turning
Turning circles we go round againNever ending the time is bending
These songs all the same
And we will stand listening
Looking back on the ones that remainAnd time hurries on
We are here, we are gone
And time passes on
All the words of your songTurn the pages
Nothing ages
That's what you will see
Turn the pages
Ring of changes
Is what it will beThe sun when it's rising
Paints a shadow on where it has been
And night is surprising
To the people who stand in betweenFilling spaces you see their face

As they wake from their dream
And we will stand looking
Taking note of the things we have seenAnd time hurries on
We are here, we are gone
And time passes on
All the words of your songTurn the pages
Nothing ages
That's what you will see
Turn the pages
Ring of changes
Is what it will be

Barclay James Harvest are an English progressive rock band. They were founded in Saddleworth, Yorkshire, United Kingdom, in September 1966 by John Lees, Les Holroyd, Stuart "Woolly" Wolstenholme (1947–2010), and Mel Pritchard (1948–2004). They are best-known for their first four albums released in quick succession from 1970-1972. The Barclay James Harvest story begins in the early sixties in the Oldham area of North-West England. John Lees and Stuart “Woolly” Wolstenholme met at Oldham Art School, and formed a band called The Sorcerers, which evolved into The Keepers.
