Rise Up (new theme from WWE SmackDown) Lyrics

I will sit right here
And bide my time
As long as it takes
To get what's rightfully mineAnd I won't be denied
'Cause all I've got left
Is my pride and I will rise upBreak it out, break you down
Breakin' rules, breakin' ground
Had your chance, now it's gone
A new day, a new dawn
A new dawnAnd I will sit right here
And I will wait
Patiently for your
Last big mistakeAnd I won't be denied
'Cause all I've got left is my pride
And I will rise upBreak it out, break you down
Breakin' rules, breakin' ground
Had your chance, now it's gone
A new day, a new dawnI control my own fate

And for you it's too late
It's my dream, it's my way
It's my life, it's your painAnd I won't be denied
'Cause all I've got left is my pride
And I will rise upBreak it out, break you down
Breakin' rules, breakin' ground
Had your chance, now it's gone
A new day, a new dawnAnd I won't be deniedBreak it out, break you down
Breakin' rules, breakin' ground
Had your chance, now it's gone
A new day, a new dawnBreak it out, break you down
Breakin' rules, breakin' ground
Had your chance, now it's gone
A new day, a new dawn

Their 2001 debut album, Sinner, was certified platinum within six months and the video for its first single "Bodies" was frequently aired on various music video channels. After the September 11th attacks the song "Bodies" was infrequently heard on many radio stations due to the sensitivity of those families' loved ones who jumped from the towers.
