Rise and Ruin Lyrics

They cut away
The sickness
Out of all of us
They wash away
The pain
Wash it awayNow everyone
Is dead
There's nothing
To regret
As the world goes
Down the drain
Into the pit
Into the fire
They shall burn
Into the pit
Into the fire
They fall after all[Chorus:]
They roar

Without voice
Stalking like cats
And read out
Their note
That leaves 'em
No choice
Between fire
And rope
They run
Like the rats
But nobody leaves
Easton Hope
Defenseless -
I'm broken
The future lies
Under a stormy sky
I never thought
It'd come so far
Come hold me
And love me
For it may be
The last time
In our life
That we feel warmthYou all wear
My crown
For I will take
You down
Into my agony (into my agony)
This ground
Will be a grave
Forsaken
And depraved
This is our destiny
This night
I'm burning
My love tonight
Inside she's dying
In cleansing lightYou have to pay
The ferryman
I bring deliverance
I make the way
I paid the ferryman
Ten years ago[Chorus:]
They roar
Without voice
Stalking like cats
And read out
Their note
That leaves 'em
No choice
Between fire
And rope
They run
Like the rats
But nobody leaves Easton Hope[Solo: Tobi]Praise and serve
The machine
And choke
In its steam[Chorus:]
They roar
Without voice
Stalking like cats
And read out
Their note
That leaves 'em
No choice
Between fire
And rope
They run
Like the rats
But nobody leaves Easton Hope [2x](Praise) and serve
The machine
And choke
In its steam [3x]

The fantasy-power-metal band Orden Ogan was founded by Sebastian Grütling (drums) and Sebastian Levermann (vocals, guitar) in 1996.
They released two demos called "Into Oblivion" and "Anthem to the Dark Side" in 1997 and 98 and a year later they recorded their first self- financed and self- produced full-length "Soli Deo Gloria". In 2004 the second album "Testimonium A.D.", also self- financed, followed and despite not being full-time musicians, the band invested all time they had and managed to nail record deals for Germany, Brazil, Sweden, the UK, Switzerland and Austria.
