River Lyrics

It's hard to see that
Hard to believe that
I once was all on my own, oh yeah'Cause You've been faithful
And I'm so grateful
That you never left me alone, but ohOh, it's so good to know
To know that You are with me all of the time
You'll never let me go
And I am walking with You to stay aliveWhen the mountains fall
When the stars collide
I know You'll be there
Standing by my side, oh, oh, ohWhen the river runs
Overflows the seas
I know You'll be there
And You will still be lovin' meStill be lovin' me, yeahSome try to tell me that there's another
Something that fulfills like You do
But I'm not leaving there's nothing out there
Not a thing more precious than YouI have no need to fear
My Father watches over me night and day, yes He does

My choice is very clear
I'm so delighted to be walking Your way, yeah, yeahWhen the mountains fall
When the stars collide
I know You'll be there
Standing by my side, oh, oh, ohWhen the river runs
Overflows the seas
I know You'll be there
And You will still be lovin' meWhen the mountains fall
When the stars collide
I know You'll be there
Standing by my side, oh, oh, ohWhen the river runs
Overflows the seas
I know You'll be there
And You will still be lovin' meNever have to worry, I'll never have to fear
'Cause You are always near, taking good care of me
I'll never have to worry, I'll never have to fear
'Cause You are always near and You will still be lovin' meWhen the mountains fall
When the stars collide
I know You'll be there
Standing by my side, oh, oh, ohWhen the river runs
Overflows the seas
I know You'll be there
And You will still be lovin' meWhen the mountains fall
When the stars collide
I know You'll be there
Standing by my side, oh, oh, ohWhen the river runs
Overflows the seas
I know You'll be there
And You will still be lovin' meStill be lovin' me, yeah
Still be lovin' me, yeah

Gospel soul-sisters in more than just name, Lisa, Andrea and Joy Kimmey became popular as the first Christian Contemporary group of the '90s to take back soul/R&B from the secular masses. Born in Richmond, VA, between 1975 and 1980, the Kimmey sisters grew up on stage, performing as a support act for their mother, who is a classical pianist. Signed to the Gotee label by Joey Elwood and Todd Collins, Out of Eden delivered their first album Lovin' the Day in 1994.
