Rivers Of Babylon Lyrics

By the rivers of Babylon
Where he sat down
And there he wept
When he remembered ZionOh, the wicked carried us away in captivity
Required from us a song
How can we sing King Alpha's song
In a strange land?'Cause the wicked carried us away in captivity
Required from us a song
How can we sing King Alpha's song
In a strange land?Sing it out loud (oh hoo)
Sing the song of freedom, sister
Sing the song of freedom, brother (oh hoo, la la la la, oh hoo)So, let the words of our mouth
And the meditation of our heart
Be acceptable in thy sight
Oh, FariSo, let the words of our mouth
And the meditation of our heart
Be acceptable in thy sight
Oh, Fari (sing it, sing it, sing it, oh hoo)We got to sing it together (oh hoo)

Everyone (oh hoo)
La la la la laBy the rivers of Babylon
Where he sat down
And there he wept
When he remembered Zion'Cause the wicked carried us away in captivity
Required from us a song
How can we sing King Alpha's song
In a strange land?'Cause the wicked carried us away in captivity
Required from us a song
How can we sing King Alpha's song
In a strange land?Sing it now sing it (oh hoo)
Sing the song of freedom brother
