Robin Hood Lyrics

When you're starting to choke
Take some pills with your coke, it's inspirational
When you're life is a mess
Light one more cigarette, it's so logicalWell, it's something in your mother can't abide
But it's something that I freely prescribe
Take yourself for a ride, it never felt so good
As the night that you and I played Robin HoodStealing from the backrooms of our minds
Stealing from a time when we were five
A time I thought we'd left behindWhen you're starting to cry
I'll come and sit by my side and I will love you so
When the nightmares come I will try to be fun
Even though I'm so scared, you knowWell, it's something your mother can't abide
But it's something that I freely prescribe
Take yourselves for a ride, it never felt so good
As the night that you and I played Robin HoodStealing from the backrooms of our minds
Stealing from a time when we were five
A time I thought we'd left behindStealing from the backrooms of our minds
Stealing from a time when we were five

A time I thought we'd left behindWhen you're starting to choke
Take some pills with your coke, it's hysterical

Ocean Colour Scene is an alternative rock band which formed in Birmingham, England in 1990. Currently, the band consists of Simon Fowler (vocals, keyboards, guitar), Steve Cradock (guitar, organ), Andy Bennett (guitar), Tony Boylan (guitar), Dan Sealey (bass) and Oscar Harrison (drums). Founding bassist Damon Minchella left the band amicably in 2003. Falling between the energetic pop/rock of mod revival and the psychedelic experimentations of Traffic, Ocean Colour Scene came to be one of the leading bands of the traditionalist, post- Britpop of the mid-'90s.
