Rock Steady Lyrics

You need a man that'll treat you like the woman you are
Those little boys are just fooling around with your heart
Whatcha gonna do now that you're all alone?
You need a rock not a rollin' stoneYeah, so when I'm bored, it just ain't enough
You need a man made of stronger stuff
Get readyRock steady all night long
Rock steady till the light of dawn
Slow and easy tried and true
Rock steady
Just me and youJust me and you, babyYou need somebody who will help you with your heavy load
Well I've been there baby, Lord give me a rock and roll
Well I can bend but I won't break
'Cause you ain't got what I can takeSo when you're tired of those little girls
You want a woman that'll rock your world
Get readyRock steady all night long
Rock steady till the light of dawn
Slow and easy tried and true
Rock steady

Just me and youRock steady, babyAmateurs are clearly taught
They can't give you what you really want
When all the other have been untrue
I'll give you something you can hold on toRock steady all night long
Rock steady till the light of dawn
Slow and easy tried and true
Rock steady
Baby, me and you, oh yeahRock steady, rock steady
You know what I'm talking about
Oh oh oh, rock it babyI want you to rock it baby
Come on and rock it baby
Let me get rock it baby
Rock steady all night long

Enjoy the lyrics !!!

Bonnie Raitt, (born November 8, 1949) is an American blues and R&B singer, songwriter, and guitarist who was born in Burbank, California, the daughter of Broadway musical star John Raitt. Raitt began playing guitar at an early age, something not a lot of her high school girlfriends did. "I had played a little at school and at camp," she later recalled in a July 2002 interview. "My parents would drag me out to perform for my family, like all parents do, but it was a hobby—nothing more...I think people must wonder how a white girl like me became a blues guitarist.
