Rocker (feat. Michael Monroe) Lyrics

I'm in construction of destruction
But I think I'm on overload
And I hold my hands together
Still the walls come crushin' downMy body ain't working faster
My mind's working overtime
Going hundred miles an hour standing still
But I'm alive and doing fineI got the city sound rockin'
But I ain't got the money
I got the city sound rockin'
Don't you think it's funny 'cause I doHey, little miss Double Bubble
I don't think you're worth the trouble
And don't believe what you read in the magazines
'Cause there ain't no fuckin' limousinesI got the city sound rockin'
But I ain't got the money
I got the city sound rockin'
Don't you think it's funny 'cause I doMy mission is chaos in order
With intelligence in command
I'm way smarter than the guy who built the A-bomb

Whatever the fuck his IQAnd my body ain't working faster
My mind's working overtime
Going hundred miles an hour standing still
But I'm alive and doing fineI got the city sound rockin'
But I ain't got the money
I got the city sound rockin'
Don't you think it's funny
I got the city sound rockin'
I got the city sound rockin'
I got the city sound rockin'
Don't you think it's funny 'cause I do

Backyard Babies is a Swedish Rock'n Roll band, formed in the city of Nässjö in 1987, originally comprising singer Tobbe, guitarist Dregen, bassist Johan Blomquist and drummer Peder Carlsson. After recording a rough demo and playing a few local live dates, in 1989 the group dismissed Tobbe and replaced him with singer Nicke Borg; two more demos followed, as did a national tour, and in 1991 the Backyard Babies launched their first official release, the EP Something to Swallow.
