Rocket Fuel Lyrics

Rocket fuel, rocket fuel
Buddy, I'm runnn on a rocket fuel
I'm flyin high and feelin cool
Buddy, I'm runningMy mom works, my dads gone
So, I skip school here all day long
Burn my brains out singin this song
Doors wide open with the TV onRocket fuel, rocket fuel
One more shot of that rocket fuel
I dont need work, I dont need school
I'm running like a rocket2, 3, 4, 5
Down the road, way out there
No one waits because no one cares
Let me if I [Incomprehensible] corporate stairs
I'm gonna get my kicks while I still dont careRocket fuel, rocket fuel
One more shot of that rocket fuel
I dont need work, I dont need school
I'm running like a rocketRock and roll, rock and roll
You dont care if I sell my soul

But you move me like a holy roll
Running on a rocket fuelRocket fuel, rocket fuel
One more shot of that rocket fuel
I dont need work, I dont need school
I'm running like a rocket
Well, I'm running like a rocketI said look out mama
'Cause I'm running like a rocket
I said look out people
I am running like a rocket
Yes, I'm running

Todd Daniel Snider is a singer-songwriter born October 11, 1966 in Portland, Oregon. Best known for his wry humor, Snider has been a fixture on the Americana, alt-country, and folk scene since his debut on MCA, entitled Songs for the Daily Planet, named for the bar where Snider used to play regularly in Memphis. On that album were the minor hits "Talkin' Seattle Grunge Rock Blues", a folk song about the early '90's grunge scene, featuring a band that "refused to play", and "Alright Guy", which later became the title cut of Gary Allan's 2001 album.
