Rockin' Into the Night Lyrics

Oh Rockin'
Oh YeahCruising down the motorway
Got my girl by my side
We're both a little anxious
Ooo, we got love on our mind
Waiting, anticipating
For the fireworks in the night
Well I swear we were doing eighty
When we saw those motel lightsAnd we were rockin' into the night
Rockin' into the night
Ooo hoo, rockin'
Rockin' into the night
Rockin' into the nightOut on the back street
Taking love where I can
I found a sweet madonna
Ooo, with a bible in her hand
She's waiting, anticipating
Well, for someone to save her soul

Well, I ain't no new messiah
But I'm close enough for rock and rollAnd we were rockin' into the night
Rockin' into the night
Ooo hoo, rockin'
Rockin' into the night
Rockin' into the nightAnd I'm slowin' down, and she's pullin' inWaiting, anticipating
For the fireworks in the night
Well, I swear we were doing eighty
When we saw those motel lightsWe were Rockin',
Rockin' into the night
Ooo yeah
Rockin', rockin' into the night
Rockin', rockin' into the night
Rockin', rockin' into the nightRockin' into the night, rockin' into the night
Rockin' into the night, rockin' into the night
Rockin' into the night, rockin' into the night
Rockin' into the night, rockin' into the night

38 Special is an American rock band. Formed by vocalist Donnie Van Zant in 1975 in Jacksonville, Florida, the band initially had a straight-ahead southern rock sound, much like Lynyrd Skynyrd, the band of his older brother Ronnie. By the early 1980s, the band began incorporating elements of blues rock, pop rock, and arena rock into their sound, kicking off a string of successful albums and singles.
