Roll Along, Roll Away Lyrics

Roll along lady
Roll away gal
I gotta good woman
And she knows too well
Take a step from my door
I don't want what you sell
Roll along babe, roll awayRoll along down
To desperation town
Where all the lips are red
But the water is brown
Where ya take good men
And make 'em graveyard bound
Roll along babe, roll awayRoll along lady
Roll away honey
I gotta good woman
To spend all my money
I'll tell ya now baby
These games ain't funny

Roll along babe, roll awayRoll along honey
Roll away babe
I love my woman
You're a little too late
There ain't no way
Your soul can be saved
Roll along babe, roll away
Roll along babe, roll away
Roll along babe, roll away

Enjoy the lyrics !!!
(b. March 5th, 1994) American Folk/Blues Singer-Songwriter.

Known as "The Stray Of His Generation", Corey Allen Cyr is a union mill worker who always had an extreme fascination with poetry and music. He self-taught guitar/harmonica in late 2011, usually covering well-known old-style classic rock/ blues songs as a hobby. On April 21st, 2014, Corey began to take music seriously, and announced his official entry onto ReverbNation as an independent Folk/Blues Singer-Songwriter, charting around 1 millionth in the world. With the musical influences of icons like: Bob Dylan, Jackson Browne, Woody Guthrie, John Lennon, and Joni Mitchell, Corey became quickly spotted for his folkish soft-rock style, as well as his use of poetic stream-of-consciousness storytelling, and protest-type songwriting.

On November 1st, 2014, aged at only 20 years, 7 months, and 5 days, Corey shattered records by releasing his lengthy 20-track, 68-minute debut album "CYR" through Catapult Distribution, making him the youngest artist to release an all original album with a duration of over an hour. On December 13th, 2014, Corey was invited to the four-mile-long Million Man March held in New York City, one of the largest social media driven gatherings of all time. As an honorary guest, he performed "E.G. And The N.Y.C. Police", a well-known protest song from "CYR" about the killings and trials of Eric Garner that had taken place earlier in the year, for recorded 64,000 attendees.

Corey signed on to Broadcast Music Incorporated as an affiliate songwriter on January 25th, 2015. During the early part of 2015, Corey gained even more attention as he stepped from his shell and began performing around his hometown of Putnam, CT, typically at open mics and his own free shows when he had the opportunity. On April 20th, 2015, Corey released his second full-length independent album "CYR's Subsidiary" through Catapult Distribution, enabling him the rare accomplishment of releasing two all-original full-length albums within his first official year as a musician. By the end of 2015, Corey had over 5,000 fans worldwide.

In March of 2016, Corey received three nominations from the "CT Music Awards", for the categories of: "Album Of The Year" (for "CYR's Subsidiary"), "Song Of The Year" (for "I'm On My Way Home", from "CYR's Subsidiary"), as well as "Best Artist" (for Folk or Traditional genre). Corey has also broken through the ReverbNation United States and Global Folk Music charts Top 100 multiple times, peaking at 10th in the U.S. and 11th in the globe on April 21st, sustaining him the number one spot for his state of Connecticut and local region for over 30 consecutive weeks.

Recently, he has announced that yet another independent full-length album entitled "The Stray Of His Generation", is available for pre-order June 18th, 2016, and due to release on all mainstream digital platforms July 1st, 2016 through Catapult Distribution. He currently resides in his hometown of Putnam, Connecticut.
