Roll With Me Lyrics

Wake up in the mornin, get to livin my life
Makin sure that Im all that I can be
Went to church on Sunday, there was a moment that came
I swear it was like the Lord spoke right to meSo now I'm slowin it down and I'm lookin around
And I'm lovin' this town and I'm doin alright
Aint' worried 'bout nothin except for the man I wanna be
I'm thinkin maybe it's time to be livin' a rhyme
When I'm singin a song about nothin but right
And it'd sure be nice if you would roll with meSaw a kid last winter only twenty years old
Bein laid to rest while his mom stood by his side
Sure was hard to watch those tears roll down her face
Made me think how we all just have our timeSo now I'm slowin it down and I'm lookin around
And I'm lovin' this town and I'm doin alright
Aint' worried 'bout nothin except for the man I wanna be
I'm thinkin maybe it's time to be livin' a rhyme
When I'm singin a song about nothin but right
And it'd sure be nice if you would roll with meWell, who knows whats ahead
I think I'd rather not know insteadSo now I'm slowin it down and I'm lookin around

And I'm lovin' this town and I'm doin alright
Aint' worried 'bout nothin except for the man I wanna be
I'm thinkin maybe it's time to be livin' a rhyme
When I'm singin a song about nothin but right
And it'd sure be nice if you would roll with meMaybe it's time to be livin' a rhyme
When I'm singin a song about nothin but right
And it'd sure be nice if you would roll with me
If you would roll with me, if you would roll with me
I wake up in the mornin, get to livin my life

Montgomery Gentry is a country music duo, founded in the 1990s, consisting of Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry. Eddie Montgomery is the older brother of John Michael Montgomery. Some sources say that Troy Gentry is the son of Bobbie Gentry, which is untrue. Troy's parents are Lloyd and Pat Gentry. Eddie, Troy, and John were in a band called Early Tymz. Eddie and Troy continued to perform after John left to pursue a solo career. The duo went through several name changes before they decided to call themselves Montgomery Gentry. Eddie Montgomery is bald and seemingly always wears a hat. Eddie also has a habit of twirling his microphone on stage, which has become somewhat of a signature.

The band has released five CDs including "Some People Change" which was released in 2006
