Roller Coaster Lyrics

I was the straw to which you hung on
I came to enlight your silly life as far as I can see
I taught you everything I know
Still you're stupid as before so far as I can seeLife is like a roller coaster hang on pretty tight
Up'n down'n wrong'n right now hang on for your lifeI had you sense the major thrill
I elevated you from filth it was there for all to see
I had you accepted I got you right but bet your ass there was
A lot I had to sacrifice and still I hurt and bleedLife is like...IT'S OK
Hear me say it's ok there just is no other way
I believe and strongly feel some things just aren't meant to beAll the time in our lives something somewhere draws a line
I believe in time you'll see sometimes some thing are best let beYou may find between the lines lotsa things you missed first time
But that's ok now hear me say we all learn from our mistakesYes I'll be all right
Yes I think I'll be all right
I hope I'll be all right
Yes I wish I'll be all right
It's okComed this far it's who we are and what and how that takes us far
So just proceed leave history behind but make sure your hands are cleanHalt for a while now would you try to change things given one more try
Sure I know the level is low but never fail and you'll never knowYou may find between the lines...

Yes I'll be all right...
All the time in our lives...
You may find between the lines...
Yes I'll be all right...

Tomas "Ace" Forsberg (1966-2004) was the frontman and creative force behind the influential swedish band Bathory, in which he went by his stage name Quorthon - a name he claims he picked out of a list of demons. In 1993 Quorthon set Bathory aside and recorded and released two albums under the name "Quorthon". The first was Album released in 1994, and Purity of Essence followed in 1997. The albums were more grunge/rock oriented than Bathory's black metal/viking metal style. While working on these albums he found new inspiration to continue composing music for Bathory.
