Rollin' In My Sweet Baby's Arms Lyrics

I'm gonna lay around the shack till the mail train comes back
Then I'll roll in my sweet baby's armsWell I ain't gonna work on the railroad
I ain't gonna work on the farm
Hey I'll lay around the shack till the mail train comes back
And roll in my sweet baby's armsWell I'm rollin' in my sweet baby's arms
Rollin' in my sweet baby's arms
Lay around the shack till the mail train comes back
Then I'll roll in my sweet baby's armsWell now where were you last Saturday night
While I was a lyin' in jail
Hey you're walkin' the streets with another man
Wouldn't even go my bail
Well I'm rollin' in [unverified]

Alvis Edgar Owens, Jr. (August 12, 1929 – March 25, 2006), better known as Buck Owens, was an American singer and guitarist who had 21 No. 1 hits on the Billboard country music charts with his band, the Buckaroos. They pioneered what came to be called the Bakersfield sound—a reference to Bakersfield, California, the city Owens called home and from which he drew inspiration for what he preferred to call American music.
