Rufus Rastus Johnson Brown Lyrics

My mother sang it this way:Rufus, Rastus, Johnson Brown
Watcha gonna do when the rent comes round?
Watcha ya gonna say, how ya gonna pay
You know you'll never have a cent till
Judgement Day!
You know, I know, rent means dough,
The landlords gonna put us out in the snow.
Rufus, Rastus, Johnson Brown
Watcha gonna do when the rent comes round?
