Run Dusty Run Lyrics

Run Dusty run don't hold back the hammer
I got a little lady on the other side
Run Dusty run don't hold back in anger
I want you baby to be my brideIf you beat that filly and that gelding out of Fairmont
You'll get more hay and new silks to wear
I'm gonna win that purse our money's gonna double
And how I get it, I just don't careRun Dusty run don't hold back the hammer
I got a little lady on the other side
Run Dusty run don't hold back in anger
I want you baby to be my bride
It's our big chance Sunday, it's our last chance honey
To make a scatch, yeah, we both gotta run
I'm gonna bet your horse with someon else's money
And how I get it ain't gonna be fun... ...Run Dusty run don't hold back the hammer
I got a little lady on the other side
Run Dusty run don't hold back in anger
I want you baby to be my brideWell gimme that money and gimme that bottle
I got my car and I paid the rent

We're gonna get married justa south of the border
The blacktop's burning, away we went
Run Dusty run don't hold back the hammer
I got a little lady on the other side
Run Dusty run don't hold back in anger
I want you baby to be my bride, yeahI want you baby to be my bride
I want, I want you baby to be my bride
Yeah!
