Run For Your Life Lyrics

Thunder and lighting roaring outside
Voices keep calling your name through the night
The wind carries these whispers away
It's almost like a spell
Will you ever break free
From the chains of the past
If you believe in yourself
There's freedom at last
Run for your life
Run from the dark to the light
Run for your life
Run with the speed of light
The beginning of the end
Cause now your fate is in your hands

Closing your eyes to focus the thoughts
You'll do anything not to get caught
Leave while you can and don't get confused
By demons inside your head
Will you ever break free
From the chains of the past
If you believe in yourself
There's freedom at last
Run for your life
Run from the dark to the light
Run for your life
Run with the speed of light
The beginning of the end
Cause now your fate is in your hands
Run for your life
Run from the dark to the light
Run for your life
Run with the speed of light
The beginning of the end
Cause now your fate is in your hands

At Vance were founded by Lenk, the man already known through his solo albums, as guitarist in the legendary Zed Yago and Progressive project Centers. Their first album, "No Escape" was released in 1998, and followed by "Heart of Steel" two years later. A year after this, in 2001, came the band's third album "Dragonchaser". After signing with AFM Records in 2002, the band then released "Only Human" before touring Europe with Rhapsody and Angel Dust. Singer Oliver Hartmann then left the band and a replacement was found in former Yngwie Malmsteen singer Mats Leven.
