Sad Eyes Lyrics

Looks like it's over
You knew I couldn't stay
She's coming home today
We've had a good thing
I'll miss your sweet love
Why must you look at me that way
It's overOhh, sad eyes
Turn the other way
I don't want to see you cry
Sad eyes
You knew there'd come a day
When we would have to say goodbyeTry to remember
The magic that we shared
In time your broken heart will mend
I never used you
You knew I really cared
I hate to say it at the end
But it's overOhh, sad eyes

Turn the other way
I don't want to see you cry
Sad eyes
You knew there'd come a day
When we would have to say goodbyeSad eyes
You knew there'd come a day
When we would have to say goodbye
Sad eyes
(Sad eyes)
Turn the other way
(Turn the other way)
I don't want to see you cry
(Cry, cry, cry)Sad eyes
(Sad eyes)
You knew there'd come a day
(Hey, hey)
When we would have to say goodbye

The Bee Gees, originally made up of three brothers: Barry Gibb, Robin Gibb (died 2012), and Maurice Gibb (died 2003), have been successful for most of their 40-plus years of recording music. They had two distinct periods of exceptional success: as a pop act in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and as a foremost act of the disco music era in the late 1970s. The Gibb brothers were born on the Isle of Man, UK to English parents in 1946 (Barry Alan Crompton Gibb, September 1) and 1949 ( twins Robin Hugh Gibb and Maurice (pronounced "Morris") Ernest Gibb, December 22).
