Same Blue Devils Lyrics

All my funny pages, cartoon Saturdays ago
Carved my number in the door
Oh, my revelation, railway summers overcast
And the creaking of the boards, ohNo use dragging down to the wire
Same Blue Devils leap from the fire
Theres no easy come, easy goOh, my happy ender, teacup manners under glass
My gravel blinded love
Oh, my sorry jailer isnt nothing here for you
To revel in the dust, ohNo use dragging down to the wire
Same Blue Devils leap from the fire
Theres no easy come, easy goAll my funny pages, cartoon Saturdays ago
Carved my number in the doorNo use dragging down to the wire
Same Blue Devils leap from the fire
Theres no easy come, easy go
Easy come, easy go, easy come, easy go

Grant-Lee Phillips (born Bryan G. Phillips on 1 September 1963 in Stockton, California) is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He is probably best known as the voice and vision of the critically-acclaimed group Grant Lee Buffalo, which existed from 1992 to 1999. In the early 2000s Grant featured regularly in the television series Gilmore Girls as Star Hollow's local busker. He did not sing his own songs on the show - he mostly covered songs of other musicians, usually in the background as the main characters are passing.
