Same Old Same Old Lyrics

you would never turn around your turning everything upside down and tryin' to put the blame on me and act like you did nothing wrong to me but now that I'm a superstar you always want to hang around and this the end why can't you see I'm putting an end to my misery I'm putting an end to my misery and this the end why can't you see the way you act now seems like we've been friends forever you say it's been a long time since we have seen each other but lookin' into those lying eyes I know better you're feeling kind of beat and you wanna' talk to a friend but here's the truth here's truth about the matter we were never friends I'm putting an end to my misery I'm putting an end to my misery and this the end why can't you see you say it's been a long time since we have seen each other and this the end why can't you see the way you act now seems like we've been friends forever but lookin' into those lying eyes I know better you're feeling kind of beat and you wanna' talk to a friend but we were never friends I'm putting an end to my misery I'm putting an end to my misery and this the end why can't you see and this the end why can't you see cant you see

Chumbawamba are an English musical group formed in 1982 in the Leeds squatting community. They have, over a career spanning nearly three decades, played punk rock, pop-influenced music, world music, and folk music. Their vocal anarchist politics exhibit an irreverent attitude toward authority; the band have been forthright in their syndicalist, pacifist, communist, mutlicultural, and feminist social stances.

The band are best known for their song "Tubthumping." Other singles have included "Amnesia," "Enough Is Enough" (with MC Fusion), "Timebomb," "Top of the World (Ole, Ole, Ole)," and most recently, "Add Me."

On 7th July 2012 they announced their impending breakup before the end of the year.
