Satisfied Mind Lyrics

how many times
have you heard someone say
if I had his money
I'd do things my way
but little they know
that it's so hard to find
one rich man in ten
with a satisfied mindonce I was living
in fortune and fame
and all that I dreamed of
to get a start in life's game
then suddenly it happened
I lost every dime
but I'm richer by far
with a satisfied mind'cause money won't buy back
the youth when you're old
or a friend when you're lonely
or a hearts that's grown cold

the wealthiest person
is a pauper at times
compared to the man
with a satisfied mind
(SLIDE GUITAR & HARP DITTY)

Enjoy the lyrics !!!

The Ozark Mountain Daredevils were started in 1971 in Springfield, Missouri in an attempt by the singer/songwriter members to have a vehicle in which to display and promote their music. At first, they played in bars and on porches. However, a record executive from A&M records discovered the band, and they began their recording path. The original members of the band consisted of:
John Dillion - (vocals, guitars, mandolin, fiddle, piano, harp, autoharp, dulcimer, jawbone, percussion, keyboards)
