Save Me Lyrics

If you met, I can't forget, I can't forget
About the breath
Pathetic little excuses for a baby
Cos you're kind
And things were nice
The banker smelt extremely nice
Cashed up was a good thing for a while
No you can't - Save me
No you can't - Save me from her
No you can't - Save me
No you can't - Save me
When you're here we went to there
We got around near everywhere
And people seemed to generally hate you
Whiny jokes was such a hoax
You tried so hard to stay afloat
It ended up the drowning with the best
No you can't - Save me

No you can't - Save me from her
No you can't - Save me
No you can't - Save me
Whoa yeah
All right now
Whoa yeah
Get down
They magised??? ... was just a girl
Your mother standing in the hall
Your father pacing
He's such a fuck up
Shot em then, I shot em there
You should have seen your daddy stare
What a shame they say that she is dead now
No you can't - Save me
No you can't - Save me from her
No you can't - Save me x 9
No you can't - Save me, me in

Grinspoon are an Australian post-grunge band (formerly alternative metal) from Lismore, Australia, formed in 1995 by Phil Jamieson (vocals), Pat Davern (guitar), Joe Hansen (bass), and Kristian Hopes (drums). They gained fame when they were Unearthed by national commercial-free radio station Triple J with their track Sickfest.

The band was heavily influenced by grunge and alternative metal music in their early career, and developed a strong following among mosh pit crowds. Their sound changed to a more mainstream rock sound with their 2004 release Thrills, Kills & Sunday Pills, which caused them to lose many of their earlier fans while at the same time gaining a lot of new ones.
