Save Myself Lyrics

I want the truth when the world is lying
I want to live or at least die trying
I want to share my soul 'cause it heals me every timeI want to scream when there's fear inside
I want to run when I gotta free ride
I want to shed my skin if I feel the urge to flyAnd I will fall on my face, too bruised and brokenAnd to save myself, I don't want to save myself
I just want to live out loud, feel the rush that's all around
I light the flames to feel the burn, trouble everywhere I turn
There's freedom in the lessons learned, and beauty when the love's returnedI want to breathe, like it's my first breath
I want to bleed, when I'm put to the test
I want to dig down deep, and find out who I amAnd I will love like a love lost, too scarred and too openTo save myself, I don't want to save myself
I just want to live out loud, feel the rush that's all around
I light the flames to feel the burn, trouble everywhere I turn
There's freedom in the lessons learned, and beauty when the love's returnedSave myself, I don't want to save myself
I just want to live out loud, feel the rush that's all around
I light the flames to feel the burn, trouble everywhere I turn
There's freedom in the lessons learned, and beauty when the love's returnedYeah, when the love's returned

Margaret LeAnn Rimes (born August 28, 1982, in Jackson, Mississippi) is a popular American country and pop music singer. Rimes emerged with her first single, "Blue," when she was just thirteen years old in 1996. She is most recognized for her crossover hit "How Do I Live" which, according to the Billboard charts, is one of the most successful songs in American music history, spending 69 weeks on the charts, more than any other song in American history. While country singer Trisha Yearwood's version of the song won a Grammy in 1998, Rimes' version outsold Yearwood's by millions of copies.
