Save Lyrics

I'm not feeling touch
I'm not making that much
And I guess I am blessed
But sometimes it's just hard to see it suchI'm stuck here alone in the traffic lines
For couples in love in the h-o-v flyby
I don't get it, I'm not asking for much
But everybody wants to just have somethingSo I'll be picking me up,
Breaking me down
I was lost, was I found?
I wanna feel everything
When everything feels wrong with me
Take a look and brace myself
Everybody wants to make it countSave me
'Cause I can never float, sinking
Amaze me
And I would be there holding on for lifeIs it in it, yeah sit in
Inside this drab apartment
The walls are blank,

It's like they're talking to me.
I put a picture on the wall
I took a chance, I took a fall
She took off fast and gracefully
Yes I was blind and now I see.And I was picking me up,
Breaking me down
I was lost, was I found?
I wanna feel everything
When everything feels wrong
Take a look and brace myself
Everybody wants to make it countSave me
'Cause I can never float, sinking
Amaze me
And I would be there holding on for lifeAnd I could tell,
From the picture I could feel
I was sinking.
Pull me out, bring me back to life
The colors that my eyes had never seen
Well I can see it nowSave me
'Cause I can never float, sinking
Amaze me
And I would be there holding on for lifeSave me
'Cause I can never float, sinking
Amaze me
And I would be there holding on for lifeSo save me
Save me
Save me
Save me

Teenage Fanclub are an indie rock band from Bellshill, Scotland near Glasgow, formed in 1989, and were formerly known as The Boy Hairdressers. They have two generally known humorous nicknames "The Fannies" and "The Bellshill Beach Boys"

Teenage Fanclub are revered for their devotion to chiming, Byrds-esque guitars and harmony vocals. Songwriting duties are shared between the three permanent members of the band, Norman Blake, Raymond McGinley, and Gerard Love.

In 2006, the band held two special concerts in London and Glasgow, playing their 1991 masterpiece Bandwagonesque in its entirety.

There have been a succession of drummers, including:

- Francis MacDonald (a prime-mover in the C86 scene, later of the BMX Bandits), the drummer in the original lineup, and in a later period
- Brendan O’Hare (later of Telstar Ponies, Thrapple , Mogwai and Macrocosmica)

and

- Paul Quinn (later of The Primary 5), who was later replaced by the returning Francis MacDonald.

Keyboardist Finlay MacDonald (no relation to Francis MacDonald) has also been a member.
