Say the Word Lyrics

Day after day I wake up with a jump
I grab my shirt, grab my hat and I take my burnt toast
In my mind everything seems fine
It's alright, it's okay but somehow something's missingWithout your love, without your peace
It's the same thang everybody feels it
Day after day, in every way
I wanna take each step with youI just say the word
And I'm free
Oh, I just say the word
And now nothing's missingIsn't it weird that we say what we say
And we still do what we wanna do
Somehow I gotta find a way
To break through all these selfish tendenciesWithout your love, without your peace
It's still the same ol' thang, yeah, everybody feels it
Day after day, this I pray
That I take each step with youI just say the word
And I'm free
Oh, I just say the word

And now nothing's missingI just say the word
And I'm free
Oh, I just say the word
And now nothing's missingSay the word and I am free
Say the word and nothing's missing
Say the word and I am free
Say the word and nothing's missingSay the word and I am free
Say the word and nothing's missing
Say the word and I am free
Say the word and nothing's missingI just say the word
And I'm free
I just say the word
And now nothing's missingI just say the word
And I'm free
I just say the word
And now nothing's missingSay the word, nothing's missing
Say the word, I am free
Say the word, nothing's missing
Say the word, I am freeSay the word, nothing's missing
Say the word, I am free
Say the word, nothing's missing
Say the word, I am freeSay the word, nothing's missing
Say the word, I am free
Say the word, nothing's missing
Say the word, I am free

There're, at least, three acts using the name: 1) Raze (the house music group) 2) Raze (Christian pop group) 3) Raze (Hip-Hop artist). Raze (house music group) is a electronic dance music group assembled by instrumentalist and producer Vaughan Mason. He is the same Vaughan Mason who produced the hit "Bounce, Rock, Skate, Roll" for Brunswick Records in 1979. The group also contained vocalist Keith Thompson. They hit number one on the U.S. Hot Dance Club Play chart in 1988 with "Break 4 Love".
