Sayonara Lyrics

All was right
We were one
You were my everything
So in loveNow I've learned
That you weren't there
How could I be so blind for youWell, I seen it in your face
That you were on a date
Girl, I should've known
You started comin' in so lateSomeone else had said
That I had been misled
Till the day our kid found
You in someone else's bedSayonara
I won't be bothered
And I never want to see
Your face no moreSayonara
I won't be bothered
And I never want to see
Your face no moreNo, no, no

No, no, no
No, no, noAll I know
Is you were wrong
But still I could forgive
I stayed strongTill one day
He came by
And said our family
Was all a lieWell, I couldn't believe my ears
What she was tellin' me
So I went to call my doctor
'Cause I just had to seeWell, he really rocked my world
You know good and well, he did
'Cause you knew all the time
That you had someone's kidSayonara
I won't be bothered
And I never want to see
Your face no moreSayonara
I won't be bothered
And I never want to see
Your face no moreSayonara
I won't be bothered
And I never want to see
Your face no moreSayonara
I won't be bothered
And I never want to see
Your face no moreOh oh oh, girl
Girl, I've had it
You could have had the decency
To tell the child if not just meOh oh oh, girl
Girl, forget it
Girl, I'm walkin' out that door
You can't come this way no moreNo, no, no
No, no, no
No, no, no
Hey, na na na
No, no, noSayonara
I won't be bothered
And I never want to see
Your face no moreSayonara
I won't be bothered
And I never want to see
Your face no moreSayonara
I won't be bothered
And I never want to see
Your face no more

After 7 was an R&B group, founded in 1988 by brothers Melvin and Kevon Edmonds and Keith Mitchell. The Edmonds brothers are the older siblings of popular pop and R&B singer-songwriter Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds" while Mitchell is the cousin of Babyface's then-partner, songwriter-producer Antonio "L.A." Reid. The band released their first album issued self-titled debut in autumn 1989, which included the hits, "Sayanora", "Heat of the Moment", "Can't Stop" and the quiet storm staple, "Ready or Not".
