School Days Lyrics

Used to be the trouble maker
Hated homework, was a sweet heart breaker
But now I have my dream
I'm so rowdy for eighteenNever read a single book
Hated homework and the dirty looks
But now I live my life
There's a lot I've seen at eighteen, oh yeahSchool days, school days
I'm older now and what will I find about my
School day, school days
I'm starting to slip, I'm losin' my mindUsed to be the wild one
Hated class only lived for fun
I'm mean and got my schemes
At the crazy age of eighteenNever made the honor roll
Hated rules what I was told
Now I am almost free
It's a dangerous scene when you're eighteen, oh yeahSchool days, school days
I'm older now and what will I find about my
School day, school days

I'm starting to slip, I'm losin' my mindSchool days, school days
I'm older now and what will I find about my
School day, school days
I'm starting to slip, I'm losin' my mindSchool days, school days
I'm older now and what will I find about my
School day, school days
I'm starting to slip, I'm losin' my mindSchool days, school days
I'm older now and what

The Runaways were an American all-girl rock band from Los Angeles, California, who performed from 1975 to 1979. Believed at the time to have been a novelty act formed by producer Kim Fowley, who thought the notion of five teenage girls dressed in leather and lingerie performing heavy metal music was highly marketable, the band released its eponymous first album in 1976. The Runaways were formed in late 1975 by drummer Sandy West and rhythm guitarist Joan Jett after they had both introduced themselves to producer Kim Fowley, who gave Jett’s phone number to West.
