Scorn Lyrics

They're killing meBroken my face, cut me to the bone
Trapped in this hate, you imprison me
Gave up my faith, so just leave me alone
Strapped to the pain, no forgiving meSo fuckin' scorn that you wouldn't believe
I fill the tub with gasolineNobody taught me to hate
Nobody taught me to feel
You only showed me your pain
But you, you never taught me to healTear at the scab, infect the wound
Take another stab at the enemy
Light up the blame, fire up the spoon
Blowin' out me brain 'cause you're killing meSo fuckin' scorn that you wouldn't believe
I fill the tub with gasolineNobody taught me to hate
Nobody taught me to feel
You only showed me your pain
But you, you never taught me to heelNobody body taught me to
(Hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate)
Nobody body taught me to
(Hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate)As I stand and I wait and I learn

I have been scorn
As I live and I die and I burn
I have been scornBroken my face, cut me to the bone
Trapped in this hate, you imprison me
Gave up my faith, so just leave me alone
Strapped to the pain, no forgiving meSo fuckin' scorn that you wouldn't believe
I fill the tub with gasolineNobody taught me to hate
Nobody taught me to feel
You only showed me your pain
But you, you never taught me to heelNobody taught me to hate
Nobody taught me to feel
You only showed me your pain
But you, you never taught me to heelNobody body taught me to
(Hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate)
Nobody body taught me to
(Hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate)

Dope was a nu metal band founded in 1997 and immediately exploded onto the New York City club scene. After only a handful of shows, Dope secured a major label deal with Epic / Flip Records in 1998. The band's self-produced debut "Felons and Revolutionaries" was released in 1999 and nonstop touring fueled the band's success. Dope did several national tours with acts like Slipknot, Sevendust, Mudvayne, Fear Factory, Staind, Static-X, and Kid Rock earning Dope a reputation for being one of the most exciting live bands of the new millennium.
