Screenwriting an Apology Lyrics

She called last night, still waiting for a reply
This static contact, pulling us apart
Please hang on tight, I'll see you through the nightYou have me still because I'm breathing
Although it has slowed down
Please don't cry because I'm leaving
I hope, I see you soonExchange the sunshine
For brown eyes and dark skies
Replace this dull life with you
I Know, it's tomorrow
She's waiting for something to feel aliveYou know me too well
She's sorry and I can tell
Scene missing, 'Fade To Black'
You're acting all this out againJust wake me when it's over
When the curtains raise
It's time to move onExit now, credits rolling
The girl who stole my heart
The one that got away
(One that got away)You know me too well

She's sorry, I can tell
Scene missing, 'Fade To Black'
You're acting all this out again, againYou have me still because I'm breathing
Although it has slowed down
Please don't cry because I'm leaving
I hope, I see you soonYou know me too well
She's sorry and I can tell
Scene missing, 'Fade To Black'
('Fade To Black')
You're acting all this out again

Formed in Dayton, Ohio in 2001. Playing from the start on self-booked tours across the country gave them some initial national exposure, but they weren't signed to Victory Records until late 2003. As one of the first bands to utilize social networking to gain a fan base, Hawthorne Heights developed a huge MySpace following that became a catalyst that would launch them from underground to international awareness.
