Seams Lyrics

Fray, now these edges have been burned
It's the same, and it would happen to us in turn
These games we play are my main concern
Cause these edges are warm right to the boneYou always said you just be who you wanna be
Now, you see we're splitting at the seams
You always said you just be who you wanna be
You can dream and live your wildest dreamsSaid we're splitting at the seams
Said we're splitting at the seams
You can call me up when you feel like hurting
You can see this anger through
You just call me up when you feel us breaking
I can bring that silence tooYou can call me up when you feel like tamping
Ain't you just a perfect dream?
You can call me up when you feel like hating
But you see we're splitting at the seamsYou know what I mean?
We're splitting at the seams
Waking up for this dream
We're splitting at the seams

We're splitting at the seams
You can call me up when you feel like tamping
Ain't you just a perfect dream?
You can call me up when you feel like hating
But you see we're splitting at the seamsWe're splitting at the seamsYou always said you just be who you wanna be
Now, you see we're splitting at the seams

Modestep is a 4-piece live band from North London, England. Their sound clearly takes influence from progressive electro and dubstep as one of their fans stated they like to make music which "makes your brains wobble with low pass filth", in reality not all Modestep's tunes aim to be as filthy as possible which is much the trend of the times, in what can possibly be seen as a post-dubstep progression; where bass-heavy music is never avoided however incorporated eclecticly with electronica. Modestep's live shows take place every sunday on their radio stream at http://modestep.
