Searchin' My Mind Lyrics

I've been abused in my life and time
Wanting to love and give up self and mind
Hoping and praying
That you'll be mine alwaysKnowing that I would never bind your heart
That way
To make you stay
I've lived lonely times that would not pass
I've lived good times I've hoped would last
Knowing all the while I might be asking too much
of yousearchin' my mind, searchin' my mind with you babe
(I want ya, I need ya)
Takin' some time, searchin' my mind with you babe
('cuz I love ya)
searchin' my mind, searchin' my mind with you babe
(I want ya, I need ya)
Takin' some time, searchin' my mind with you babe
('cuz I love ya)Although you've told me your heart must be free
I feel within me that you'll grow to see

That love that's really strong is love that has to be
really besearchin' my mind, searchin' my mind with you babe
(I want ya, I need ya)
Takin' some time, searchin' my mind with you babe
('cuz I love ya)
searchin' my mind, searchin' my mind with you babe
(I want ya, I need ya)
Takin' some time, searchin' my mind with you babe
('cuz I love ya)
