Season Lyrics

Wake up think fast, three weeks have passed
We are changing
No sleep, no gas, no excuses will pass
These lips 'cause were shapin' up to beAll you wish you could have been
To write the hits and to turn their heads
And to open eyes to a brand new season
(Open your eyes)
A brand new seasonSo show me something we haven't heard yet
But I'm not convinced and your hopeless songs won't stick
But I, I'll sing you something you won't forget
For the first time I know this is not who I amWake up think fast three weeks have passed
These lips 'cause we're shapin' up to beAll you wish you could have been
To write the hits and to turn heads, to turn heads
To open eyes to a brand new season
(Open your eyes)
A brand new seasonSo show me something we haven't heard yet
But I'm not convinced and your hopeless songs won't stick
But I, I'll sing you something you won't forget

For the first time I know this is not who I amYou'll see what we mean, you'll notice when we're goneSo show me something we haven't heard yet
But I'm not convinced and your hopeless songs won't stick
But I, I'll sing you something you won't forget
For the first time I know this is not who I amSo show me something we haven't heard yet
But I'm not convinced and your hopeless songs won't stick
But I, I'll sing you something you won't forget
For the first time I know this is not who I am

THE COLOR RED, Clear RCA, It’s a pity that most of the hard rock people get to hear in the mainstream is painfully mediocre. There are surprises from time to time—bands more concerned with their music than the industry’s opinions—but for the most part it’s a pretty sad situation. The Color Red, with their forward-thinking debut Clear, will hopefully join the ranks of bands like Tool and System of a Down: artful bands who create crowdpleasing music without dumbing down their creations for mass consumption.
