Second Chance (Instr. Analog Boxes Remix) Lyrics

Let's go...When you walked away
What was in your mind
To turn and leave it all behind?
The One True Love
Was it not enough?
So now, tell me what did you find?Did pain embrace you with open arms
While hurt was scratching at all your scars
And love, so close yet seemed so far...Love's not far, far behind
It's never too late to change your mind
When you fall and start to cry
There's always a second time
There's always a second timeNow that you're away
What do you feel inside?
A never-ending playground ride?
Now you've fallen off
Some kind of twisted fate
So now, why do you hesitate? You look and wish on a falling star
Does it remind you of who you are?

He wants to heal up your broken heart...Love's not far, far behind
It's never too late to change your mind
When you fall and start to cry
There's always a second timeThere's always a second time
There's always a second time
Keep in mind, the second timeThere's always a second time
There's always a second timeYou look and wish on a falling star
Does it remind you of who you are?
He wants to heal up your broken heart...Love's not far, far behind
It's never too late to change your mind
When you fall and start to cry
There's always a second timeLove's not far behind
(Second time, second time)
There's always a second timeLove's not far behind
(So keep in mind, your second time)
So keep in mind, your second timeThere's always a second time

The Echoing Green is an electronica/synthpop band. It began as a solo project by Joey Belville in 1993, and has since released eleven major albums. While founder Belville is a devout Christian, it is difficult to apply the same label to the band itself; while the lyrics are at times clearly infused with a strong element of faith, they are not specifically based around praise and at no point could they be considered to be preaching a message.
